I had the pleasure of meeting Iryna and her husband David in June 2023, it was clear from the moment Iryna started talking about her Art this was a passion she cherished and loved dearly.
I had never heard of this type of artwork before and if I’m honest was very sceptical on how good this was going to be, then I got to see the work this woman does, and my mind was blown.
I first saw a picture on an iPhone so naturally I zoomed in to see what this was all about and only by zooming you could make out this picture was not a painting but in fact wool art, which that alone is clever because without zooming in you wouldn’t have known the difference.
Iryna kindly then brought me one in to see up close and in person.
The detail in these pieces is just incredible, and the imagination she uses is from another world.
You will look on this website and browse while thinking these pictures are amazing, but it is not till you see one up close and with your own two eyes that your amazement turns to outstanding and your breath is taken away, the time, the effort, the patience, the creativeness put in to make a simple strand of wool turn into a picturesque talking piece is something worth owning.
My personal favourite is titled “ Twins “ the two white Rabbits, when you look at this it just looks like a normal picture but I urge you to look with more depth, the details particularly the bottom rabbits ear, the pure perfection of details is magical it proves how devoted Iryna is as an artist and how her love for each and every picture is literally in the details.
Iryna once told me her artwork is like her babies, she handles them with care, and she nurtures each inch of her work to make sure it really comes to life when complete and by looking at the gallery on here you can see this is indeed the case.
It’s been amazing to get to know Iryna and David, seeing the joy the gift she has brings to people.
I wish them all the best and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey.
